Tough tough tough! I love both these songs, but my vote goes to Tomorrow Never Knows for it's experimental edge. I also love the drumming, Ringo was never better

Yes, Ringo gives a monstrous beat on this track, while uncharacteristically for Paul, he just plays one note on the bass! (that's exactly what is needed for the song though).

Both excellent songs, but Tomorrow Never Knows is in a class of its own, especially as it's basically one chord (C major, occasionally detouring into B flat major).

As far as I know, Nick Drake is not in PA, also The Animals are not here ...UNFORTUNATLY, they are not "proto prog" as The Who and The Beatles, so can't be that poll,  but don't worry! if I get an idea for some new and ALSO very unlikely pairing, that poll will be here, you can be sure LOL
