My Progressive Electronic-Krautronica-Post-Disco-Insert bizarre genre here project, Kösmonaut, released two full-lengths last month, to some pretty warm reception. However, there's an emptiness and sadness on my PA page, no reviews, which is understandable considering that the music isn't that readily available. Now, I understand not everyone on PA is an electronic fanatic, but if you are, please take the time to download and listen to these jams...I've heard Conrad Schnitzler, Heldon, Tangerine Dream, and Cluster are similar sounds. Below is my Bandcamp, Soundcloud, and three download links. The BC and Soundcloud are more for reference, however even the casual listener can stream all three albums entirely. Thanks for your time and ears and brains, all of which are something that make ProgArchives something very special.

I am definitely intrigued by the description here and on your PA page.  I will gladly download and listen to these, and write reviews...though I don't promise quick results, I'm notoriously slow at reviewing music. LOL  Thanks for offering them up to us!

What you describe seems to be my favorite musical genre...
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

But thanks to the Yankee nerds megaupload is closed even for legal files. Do you have another link?

Uuuhhuuhh I didn't see this!

Sounds interesting to say the leastBig smile  As my title suggest - I am pretty into the electronic genre and always on the look out for some new tunes - SO, any way of getting these albums, now that Megaupload is in time-out mode over by the stairs with the big ugly hat on?

Friends,
As a continuation of this topic, I've recently added another Kösmonaut album to the ProgArchives sonic canon log. This new album is called GREEN, and it's a further exploration of motorik rhythm jams and powerful echo drones. It was recently released on limited-edition cassette (50) on Avant Archive and just sold out. Below is a link to the PA page for the album and another link to a Mediafire mirror to download the album. Hope someone enjoys it!

Have to have a listen soon and add a review

Thx

EDIT: I heard "Green" and I did not find it to my taste.

Oh well, my lone review is there and I guess its a matter of taste. At least it tells whats on the album and this may spark some interest for others who do like this extreme form.

I may try a different album LATER.

Kösmonaut is about to release its first album in almost three years called EAGLE NEBULA. This sonic essay features hard-line Cluster / Harmonia worship and plenty of mindspace exploration.

The album will be released on 100 limited edition cassettes by KiniteK Records in Greece; the first 50 cassettes include a clear one-sided 7" featuring the tracks "Stellar Spectrum" and "Northern Spring". Please see Bandcamp below for pics of merch if interested and download codes are also available below for an early preview of the entire album. Simply navigate to the BC link below and plug in one of the download codes. Please let me know your thoughts and leave a review!
