Hey guys,

I'm the drummer for Of Wrath and Ruin, and I thought it would be cool to share our music with everyone.  We're a progressive/power/melodic death metal (whew!...what a mouthful) band from southern New Jersey.  Our debut album, "Conquering Oblivion" was just released on Apollyon Records earlier this year.  Hope you enjoy the music!

Power/Melodic Death Metalers, Of Wrath and Ruin, release their debut album, “Conquering Oblivion”, on Apollyon Records.

“All of you seeking something a bit different from the progressive/black metal norm need look no further.  Of Wrath And Ruin has arrived."
-Penfold via The Ripple Effect

"The first band that comes to mind when trying to compare these guys to somebody would probably be Dimmu Borgir, but there is also a very Symphony X vibe here too…”

- ZeeZee, MYGLOBALMIND

"One of my favorites of the year!"
-Seriah Azkath, Last Exit for the Lost

“The vocals are Black Metal orientated, but instrumental [sic]  the CD is filled with high quality Melodic Progressive Power Metal of a very high level.”

-Strutter Magazine

Hey man, I think you should submit your band to the "Suggest New Bands and Artists" section of this forum. See: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=1

Good luck!

EDIT: Oh, yes, the song Waters of the Corrupt is awesome!

Hey Ryan, if you want, private message me; I'd be happy to review your album, I could throw a review up on Metal Archives, and then here once you're accepted. Cheers!
