ZONK MONK are a three-piece rock project featuring twin female keyboardists, formed in Osaka, Japan by Kegoi TAKADA (drums), Shoko NAGASAKI (keyboard), and Ai OHNUMA (keyboard).

With terrifically splendid skills for playing, they have kicked the audience up into their Neo-Symph progressive rock world.

Shoko (keyboards, bass pedals)

Ai (keyboards, bass pedals)

Kegoi (drums, percussion) ... He's said sadly (funnily?) he should be oppressed by mass media because of two graceful keyboardists (of course, his kiddin').

I've watched their stage in Nakatsu Vi-Code on July 16th, 2011.
They appeared on stage first of all, and played the cover of a Japanese RPG Final Fantasy aggressively and fantastically.
Their music style can be called as "keyboard-based dramatic Neo-symph progressive rock" methinks.
Please check their MySpace page with samples.

They played their repertoire including "Air", "Eclipse", "Disorder" and so on.

And let me shout here, their first mini album will be released in August, 2011. Looking forward to their amazing stuff.

Thank you for reading my recommendation thread. ٩(̾●̮̮̃̾•̃̾)۶
