I'm not asking for your opinion on him as an artist all I'm asking is what do you think is the most progressive he got as a solo artist. To me it was the song Colours, but what do you all think

that particurlar song ^ would not sound odd or out-of-place on albums like Wind and Wuthering and and Then There Were Thre, sounds like Deep in the Motherload or Scenes from a Nights Dream

it is very dence arangement and he have added alot of world music textures, and fused western pop/rock with west-african drum beats, tribbal drumming, (their are some exotic cords going on on  Trick to Tails, WInd and Wuthering,) also alot of the instrumentation and atmospheres are similar (mostly on th Tarzan soundrack, which is probably the best post genesis music Phil have done, IMO, so passionate, so creative and so fresh, exotic but also with familiar elements,
