Topic: Giant adverts Posted: June 17 2011 at 13:02 |
Is it really necessary to have these giant adverts for Rhapsody of Fire and Symphony X at the top, they're taking up half the page and are rather annoying. I dont mind bands advertising on the site (beats insurance adverts at least) but this is getting a bit intrusive.

Exactly what I was thinking. They completely dominate the site. I sent a friend here earlier and the first thing he said was 'What's up with the massive adverts?'. Not the greatest addition...

Can't say that Rhapsody is big. It is exactly 730x90 pixels big, so 90 pixels doesn't take much of my screen.
Yours is bigger ?

Yup, it's definitely square adds, about as high as it is wide, really!!
It's only the Rhapsody and Symphony X adds that are disprortionate, though.... The rest (non-musical) are normal size.
