If you all hate it so much why don't you all pool your money together and pay Max's server costs?
Or we could do away with ads altogether and make this a pay site...wadda ya think of that?
Some people are so ungrateful.

I'm not ungrateful. I could care less if they had ads everywhere. And if this became a pay site I'd just stop using it. The new band information is nice, but I can find most of it myself. I can't stand most Iron Maiden, but that doesn't mean an Iron Maiden ad would bother me more than any other ad - which is none at all. Down with the Irons, up with selling out for cash, where the down boys go.

Max ran this site ad free for as long as he could, but the bills need paid and he did what he had to do.I'd rather deal with the ads then having no PA.
Not picking on you dude, but some of the posts in this thread irked me a bit.

Why did I irk you, though? I was the first one to say the bills had to be payed.

The ad is now under control. Thanks, Max.
I don't object to it being there.
Just that something in the big graphic that popped up behing the main page was screwing up my browser's formatting.
I'm glad that ads bring in revenue here, which is why I don't block them. But I don't like it when they cover what I'm trying to read (like the Kiss ad did), or just make the page difficult to maneuver (like this ad).

Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

How can I use ADblock, when I use Opera ? Not trying to pick on you, Stoney, but if your box if Firefox, you have to think outside the box. Not presuming that everyone is using browser with Adblock.
Anyway, even there are many sites where I would like to use some kind of ad blocking, PA is the last one where I would do it. ......and people, be glad that there are no popup ads with redirecting. They're hell.
