Comedy Of Errors "Glasgow based Prog band" will be releasing their new CD "Disobey" on the 20th May 2011. It has 73 minutes of music and has been mixed and produced by Rob Aubry at his studio in Southampton. The band will also be playing a gig at The Ferry in Glasgow on the same date. Also appearing will be Abel Ganz from Glasgow and Credo from England. Doors open at 8:00 with first band on stage at 8:15 sharp,

I am in this area myself, but unable to come to the gig due to work commitments (all evenings = work or Scotland will sink into the sea and disappear). I see a new album is under way and I would love to do an interview with them. PM me their email address and I will send over some questions to them. |

Does anyone know if the new album is (or will be) available to buy as downloads or only on CD?

Appears to be only available as a CD at the moment (£9.99 + postage), but snippets of all tracks can be heard via the band's website: http://comedyoferrors.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Listen-To-The-CD.mp3
There is also a "video" version (just stills to accompany it) on their facebook page: Several videos of their gig at the Glasgow 'Ferry' with Credo and Abel Ganz are on YouTube, eg the new CD title track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsHELvL5svQ Sounds really excellent neo prog to me!! |

I have heard the samples, thanks! As I am away from home until August, I was hoping that I could download the album from somewhere. But it will have to wait now. |

I always follow your recommendations, Bob! Your review is the reason I was interested in Comedy Of Errors in the first place |

The album IS indeed available for download from CD Baby and iTunes.
However the very beautiful CD package can be ordered directly from commedyoferrors.org or one of the many prog distributors now carrying this newly released masterpiece!

At the time of my first post in this thread, Disobey was not yet available on iTunes. But now it has been made available I see. Thanks, speminalium8 for pointing that out. I have been listening to this album as well as the self-titled one from 1988 now for a couple of weeks. Reviews by me are coming up.

Hey All,
Comedy Of Errors have a track on the next issue Prognosis CD in Classic Rock Presents Prog. It's out tomorrow, 13th July 2011. The track is from the latest album, Disobey which is catching some very nice reviews on this very website. The track is The Student Prince (Part 1), and if you have time to have a listen, please leave a comment or review here. The album is available thru the Errors website, http://comedyoferrors.org/ and most friendly on line prog retailers. Thanks and Cheers, CoE |
