We are delighted to announce that we have booked ANUBIS to play at Pandemonium Club in Maidstone on Saturday May 7th. The venue is Babylon Live Lounge, King Street, Maidstone, Kent, UK. Doors open at 7pm. £8. Advance tickets will be available through www.wegottickets.com shortly. Anubis boast Simon Lees who won Guitarist Magazine's "Guitarist of the Year" competition in 1998 having been runner up in 1993, 1994 & 1995. During the 1990s this was Europe's most prestigious guitar players competition with the finals held at Wembley Exhibition Centre in London." So if you like fine guitaring then come along. And please visit their Myspace or Reverbnation site and have a listen to The Pharoah in particular. It is genius guitaring. Main support comes from Crux, from South Wales, and this will be their second visit at P Club. They play a powerful Queensryche-esque style of metal and they went down a storm when they played here before. We think that Crux will be the perfect match for Anubis and we are very much looking forward to this night of more thoughtful metal. www.myspace.com/southwalescrux There is 1 more band to be announced
Thanks.

The mummies curse has struck again. CRUX have disbanded and 3/4 of hem have re-formed under the name Helldweller.
But they'll be playing a lot of the old Crux songs (which are very good) and so will still fit in very nicely with overall feel of the night.

We have just confirmed One Day Elliott as openers as well.
http://www.onedayelliott.c FOUR PIECE ONE DAY ELLIOTT HAIL FROM KENT IN ENGLAND'S SOUTHEAST. TO LABEL THEIR SOUND EXACTLY CAN BE SOMEWHAT TRICKY AS THEY SEEM TO DRAW INFLUENCE FROM EVERY GUITAR-BASED GENRE. ONE THING FOR CERTAIN HOWEVER, IS THEIR OUTSTANDING SONGWRITING AND UNQUESTIONABLE INSTRUMENTAL ABILITY, COUPLED WITH A DIVERSE RANGE OF MUSICAL TASTES GIVES THE BAND THEIR OWN SOUND: A RICH BLEND OF CLASSIC ROCK, METAL, PUNK, POP AND PERHAPS EVEN A SMALL PINCH OF EMO HERE AND THERE. OVER THE YEARS, ONE DAY ELLIOTT HAVE REFUSED TO BE PIGEON-HOLED OR FORCED INTO A PARTICULAR LABEL OR SCENE AND INSTEAD HAVE ALLOWED THEIR MUSIC TO DEVELOP ITSELF.
