Hello, I'll introduce myself once more: my name's Rodrigo San Martín and I'm a prog musician/producer from Argentina. I have released two albums independently in 2010 and started selling them (physical format) on my website.

You can listen to the music and find all the info you need here:

I've tried to enter the archives a few months ago and was told that once I started selling my music I should reapply.

I'm no good at defining music in genres, so I need your help to sort out if my music belongs in the Symphonic or Eclectic subgenres. Take for instance my second album, the three tracked There's no Way Out: track 1 (4378th Day) is clearyly a Symphonic piece (http://www.goear.com/listen/846447d/4378th-day-featuring-jelena-perisic-rodrigo-san-martin)

But track 3 (War, Act 2) is definetly Eclectic (http://www.goear.com/listen/54255dd/War,-Act-2-(Featuring-Jelena-Perisic)-Rodrigo-San-Martn), and it takes half the album!

The same thing happens in my debut album 1 (a 40 minute track)

Here are some reviews of my albums:

I've got a lot more, but they're in spanish

It would be nice if those teams re-check this talented artist's music.

Memo, the Symphonic Team has checked Rodrigo's music not once, but three times and we believe his music is good Crossover or Prog Related, and this opinion was unanimous.

Is out of our hands now, we already notified twice our opinion.

Just in case here's our latest post

Hi Memo, good to see you:

Rodrigo San Martín has already been checked by Guigo, Scott and me, we recommended him for Crossover

About Rodrigo San Martin, in first place I don't trust too much in a band that claims this number of influences:

Quote Porcupine Tree, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Yes, Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, Jethro Tull, Queen, Blackfield, The Gathering, Steven Wilson, King Crimson, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Nobuo Uematsu, Frank Zappa, Metallica, Nightwish, Richard O'brien, Rush, Sting, Steve Hackett, Steve Howe, Adrian Belew, The Beatles, Agua de Annique, The Police, The Who, Alanis Morissette

Please, nobody plays all this styles, as a fact I hear nothing of Genesis, Gabriel, Oldfield, Tull, Queen, King Crimson, ELP, Zappa, Rush, Hackett, Howe, Bellew or The Who. Maybe something of Pink Foyd and Porcupine Tree, IMO mostly Alternative/Indie.with a bit of Porcupine Tree.

I believe Prog Related at the most, not remotely related to Symphonic.

From what I can gather I didnt think he was saying he played all these styles but rather was influenced by these artists. i concur that its not symphonic at all. So pass this one on to the crossover and prog related teams in my opinion.

So, nothing has changed, we sent his case to Crossover.

Iván

It would be futile to check a fourth time, the ball is in Crossover's field now

Iván.
