My little sister is doing some kind of russian folk dance with her dance group and still needs an appropriate song. Any suggestions? (NOT necessarily prog)

Please consider that it needs to have the folk-like rhythm, so don't just name russian classical music composers.

Try this site (not prog, but, hmm, I don't think prog will necessarily be helpful in your situation -- kinda hard to dance to something in 13/8:)

Some of this stuff is actually Russian folk, some of it's more contemporary.  Try Kalinka, though.

The Ukrainians were an offshoot of the English indie band The Wedding Present and play Russian folk with a rock beat, rather like The Pogues played Irish music. Not a novelty act, they were/are very popular in The Ukraine - try the John Peel Sessions if you can find a copy.
