I just acquired and heard for the first time yesterday the new release of live recordings from 1972 by German jazz rock group Dzyan, and wanted to tell everybody that i am thrilled by the music.
The tracks are chronologically after the self-titled debut album and before the following album Time Machine, and the music reflects that-the great bonus is that this has the astounding guitar player Eddy Marron, one of the greatest things that ever happened to the band.
the music is everything that i had hoped it would be for me-that inimitable way Dzyan have of combining varied approaches of  early 70s jazz rock experimentation that is unlike any other group's sound-heavy on the instrumental aspect of their sound, and just as defiantly anti-commercial as ever (i would love to mail a copy of this to Britney Spears)
these recordings maintain the sax from the first album, and the broad sweeping guitar jams that one hears in the subsequent album, 1973's Time Machine
in a nutshell, it is Dzyan all right, and something that will definitely grow on you, if you dig the band!
