OK, at the risk of getting ridiculed... But what the hell!! Tongue

How about creating a "sub-genre" for unsigned bands as a kind of a waiting-room before they could be moved to a proper sub-genre after releasing a studio album?

Just a thought...

And sorry if this was discussed already.

the unsigned bands thread is a kind of waiting room already, Bartek ... what do we need more?
the possibility to rate or review albums from unsigned bands? What if they finally not qualify?
Too much imponderabilities imo ...

I tend to agree. The unsigned bands section does not require the band to be assessed for eligibility for the site. I think the time to do this is when they actually release something commercially.
