Mp3 downloads burned to cd question

   I recently downloaded some mp3s of 320 kbps. When I burned them to a cd with Windows Media Player, they seemed to become CDA files of 1KB. Can anyone explain this?

	Thats how a music Cd looks. You can now play it in a Cd player Which means you burned it as a n audio CD. If you had wanted them to remain as MP3s you need to burn it as a Data CD. Edited by Snow Dog - November 03 2010 at 05:22

	I'm probably missing the obvious again here, but how do I check the kbps and format of a music cd? Do I have to rip back to my computer's hard drive?

	.cda is the same as a .wav You cannot "see" into a .cda...when you put it on your pc it converts to a wav for maximum size. Edited by Snow Dog - November 03 2010 at 06:36

	What you have is a normal CD with the same properties as any other CD.....your limitations in quality is only the limitations of the source. So you have a CD with the same ammount of loss from the sound as a 320 mp3
