When I first posted this video, the maximum length on Youtube was 10 minutes, so I had to cut out a piece from the video I had made. Now, with the thanks to new Youtube rules, I can post it in full length. Here's a video I made back in 2008, it is me performing all the instruments to Genesis' Firth of Fifth from their album 'Selling England By The Pound'. I start out this video playing Troubleclef's solo guitar version from Youtube. Then, in place of the flute solo, I play, as well as I was able to learn it, the classical guitar solo in the middle of the version from Steve Hackett's Genesis Revisited album (Great version!!!), then I work up to what is more like the original version. The part you probably haven't seen before is at the end after the guitar solo, not much but just a couple of bars. Worth posting again? Heck, why not! George Lucas can re-release Star Wars in the theatre, why can't a bedroom musician do the same? :) :) Hope you like it, and thanks to everyone for watching the original posting of this. Your support is greatly appreciated!

I wondered what that noise in the background was... guess it carried through the internet connection. LOL

Chris, a wonderful video, I'm dead jealous you were able to do this!

Didn't notice it earlier, but you enjoy Rush and Van Halen next to Genesis, given the 2112 and 5150 references in your nick name?

Is it bad that I spent as much time wondering about the contents of the impressive wall of CDs behind you as I did being impressed by your playing?

Thanks for the comment, TheGazzardian. All those CD's make it difficult to move. :)

Wow, great job Chris! Loved the cover. It's such a hard song to play. I can barely get the right hand part down for the piano intro, but you played it like it was nothing. The guitar solo was great, too. Great cover.

Would you like some Bailey's?

Moved this to Music and Musician's Exchange, where it's a better fit than Unsigned Bands.
