So what will it be? One man baring his soul, or one man soiling to bear? One of the most sincere expressions in music versus one of the biggest musical broadway plays.

I respectfully choose the former.

The literally gay one instead of the derogatory gay one.

Queen for me. To be clear, if Lennon's pick was substituted for Imagine then I would have voted for it. I happen to have a soft spot for that wonderful album. Surpricingly I don't really like it's title-track as much as everything that follows.

I also don't see a point of discussing sincerity in music since those discussions tend to be strictly opinion-based. Besides, I'm sure that the post-Hackett Genesis were sincere about liking their music but that has no bearing on my opinion of that music.

Have to go for Queen here. Bohemian Rhapsody vs. Working Class Hero would be harder.

Queen described as one man? Odd.

A Night at the Opera gets my vote for being a terrific group album.

Both albums were created by "bands", although Mercury and Lennon pierce through as the primary driving forces. This was more a contest of reputation than of my own personal feelings.

We must agree to differ.
