Movie recommendations for a certain time period

I'm looking for films with a Victorian, turn-of-the-century aesthetic, or films about events in the time period. I'm thinking of The Prestige, From Hell, and Age of Innocence as visual representations, but the genre doesn't have to be the same.

Thanks if you have suggestions.

But nothing too gaudy like Tim Burton's stuff. Goth might fit, but not his brand of it.

	Plunkett and Maclene Quite simply one of the funniest movies ever, but still has a serious plot (the humor is all in the dialog, mainly).
