   Ghost Aircraft is a newly formed rock/metal trio from Iceland. They released their debut album in the end of 2009. Ghost Aircraft sounds like a mixture of the Deftones, Tool and The Mars Volta. Psychedelic down tuned riffing, mixed with gentle floating guitars, extreme metal drumming, distorted low-end and soft dreamy voice makes the experience of listening to Ghost Aircraft both magical and powerfull.

The band members are three Icelandic music lovers, Eiður who plays guitar and sings, Einar on bass and Andri on the drums. Eiður and Einar are also in a band called Vera. Vera released their debut album in 2007, The Awakening, and that album is the beginning of the Ghost Aircraft sound. Before Vera, Eiður was in a post-hardcore psychedelic band Future Future that influences Ghost Aircraft in numbers of ways. Andri is currently also playing in a post-rock band called For A Minor Reflection and they will release their first LP this year.
