Hi everyone!
Just letting you know that Kayo Dot will be performing this Saturday, February 6th, at the Stone in NYC! We'll actually be playing TWO sets that night. The first starts at 8 PM and we'll be performing all the songs off our first release on Tzadik Records from 2003, Choirs of the Eye. The second set starts at 10 PM and we'll perform Coyote, our most recent album, which is scheduled to be released in April this year by Hydra Head Records! Each set costs only $10 to attend and The Stone is located at the corner of Ave C and 2nd St in Manhattan. More details at the Stone website: http://www.thestoneync.com We hope to see you there!!! xo Mia Edited by lithopediology - February 03 2010 at 01:40 |

^So did I! Happy it (Blue Lambency Downwards) finally arrived. My favourite KD album so far. Here's a thread I opened a while back about it: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=64222
Same distance problem for me Sounds like this is the time to see Kayo Dot, though. Also insanely jealous about Greg Massi and Terran Olson making appearances. |

Mia!
I saw you at the Otto in London this September and, as it didn't turn out to be what it was supposed to , I'd love to see you again in Europe sometime soon. I remember this European tour you did was the first ever for the band, so, was it a success? |

Well, I don't have as much of a distance problem as those other guys do, but it's still halfway across the country for me
Hopefully I'll get a chance to see Kayo Dot in concert someday. |

Firstly, thanks for anyone that came to these shows! We really, really appreciate your support! :)
Pekka - Awesome to hear you got your package safe and sound! I hope you enjoy the CDs! Toby's solo album is actually my absolute favorite. Joel - Thanks for the link! Greg did an amazing job! Terran is actually now a regular member of Kayo Dot again. It's an honor to play with him. Harmonium - Oh! Thanks for having come to that weird show! Sorry about the border problems. Hopefully, we can make it back into the UK again some time... Necron - Hope so too! We do a lot of US tours so I'm sure we'll pass through your city some time soon! Gottagetin - Awww! Thank you! :) |
