i just downloaded the new System of a down album mezmerize and it's f**king awesome definately the best album they have released, so catchy and just brilliant!

what are other peoples views on it?

I just got it yesterday and really like it.I think they get better and better with each album.

I got it last week. Hell yeah, it's the best thing they've put out so far. It's a bit short, just about 36 minutes, but that only means there's no room for fillers. Great stuff, and can't wait to hear the second part of that album, which should come out in 6 months or so.

I'm getting it as soon as I can locate a vinyl copy...

I've heard bits of it, and it does indeed sound amazing!

There was an interview with SOAD in today's Guardian newspaper which exuded the reviewer's admiration for the band.
