HAKEN's debut album - AQUARIUS - is recorded, mixed, mastered and ready to go: artwork by Damnengine.
Released on LASER'S EDGE/SENSORY RECORDS - in February/March. Judging by their live performances on the Bigelf Tour, when they previewed music from the album, plus the enthusiasm of the crowd on the final night at the Camden Barfly, this concept album promises to be a stunning piece of music and one of the most exciting releases of 2010. |

Laser's Edge/Sensory have announced the release of AQUARIUS, the debut album from HAKEN, on Tuesday 30th March 2010, with artwork by Damnengine. The bands 2008 demo was well received, with one track included on the covermount CD with Classic Rock Presents Prog 2.
HAKEN have performed live in support of Riverside, Kings X, and in Autumn last year on a UK tour with Bigelf, when they played music from the forthcoming album. They have performed many headline shows of their own - notably a double header with Anchorhead at the House of Progression and in July 2009 when they introduced the completed new lineup and played the entire forthcoming album live.
Aquarius is a concept album of brand new material - not published anywhere previously and feauturing the two newest members - Charlie Griffiths on guitars [Linear Sphere and Anchorhead] and Diego Tejeida, a keyboard master from Mexico. The lineup also includes Richard Henshall [Guitar and Keys] and Tom MacLean [ Bass] who both play with To-Mera.
