I just had a chance to get online. What a fantastic show. Yhis was a real treat to get the first one. I thought how could it be bad with the caliber of musicians on the roster but it exceeded my expectations and then some. The energy from both the band and the crowd was tremendous. Daniel added a lot and I really would like to see him with POS sometimes. They were all having fun. Lots of smiles and eye contact. Right before We All See Some Light Neal and Roine were trading some guitar chops until Neal decided to play Dueling Banjos and Roine just turned his back to the laughter of all. Neal also played a little bit of Jeff Beck's Freeway Jam in one of his solos I think to see if we were paying attention. Pete was solid on bass throughout the night and really clicked with Mike Portnoy who was just tremendous. Roine and Neal were both spot on guitar and keys respectively.

All in all one of the best shows I have seen. Energy wise it would be hard pressed to surpass this.

Set List:
Set 1:
The Whirlwind in its entirety

[intermission]

Set 2:
All of the Above
We All Need Some Light (Neal and Roine switched vocal parts)
Duel With the Devil

Encore
Bridge Across Forever
Stranger in Your Soul

First Video i have found

Guys,
Montreal gig was.....no words to describe it. You have to see it by yourselves. Those five guys are not musicians, they're magicians. Amazing performance, great sound. They were five men on stage enjoying the music they were doing.
Promise if I had the chance I'd go with them all the nights in their tour

Don't miss them

I considered seeing them in Paris on 19 may, but there is that iconic punk jazz band called NOMEANSNO that will perform a gig on the same date. So obviously I am going to see Nomeansno.
