Check out who Matt Groening has invited to All Tomorrow's Parties this coming May.

We are pleased to present a stunning set of line-up additions chosen by Matt Groening, genius behind the Simpsons and Futurama, for his ATP festival weekend at Butlins, Minehead on May 7th – 9th 2010. They are:

PANDA BEAR
THE RESIDENTS
DEERHUNTER
BROADCAST
DANIEL JOHNSTON
AMADOU AND MARIAM
SHONEN KNIFE
RUINS (SOLO)

They join the previously announced: Boredoms performing Boadrum, The Raincoats, Toumani Diabate, Danielson, James Blackshaw, Anni Rossi and Viv Albertine's Limerence on this stunningly eclectic line-up!

Tickets for this event are on sale now from www.seetickets.com

They are priced at £160 per person for room only accommodation or £170 per person for self catered accommodation. Some chalet options have sold out.

ATP May 2010 Weekend 2, curated by Pavement, is now completely SOLD OUT.

Woah, I didn't realize Matt Groening had a good taste in music on top of making the best show ever (Futurama).  Unfortunately I already know I won't be able to make it, but for everyone who can I'm sure The Residents/Ruins/the others will be fun.

Oh yeah, Groening's creds are fantastic.  The Residents are no surprise here since long before he was known to the world Groening wrote one of the first short books on the eyeballed ones for the first Residents fanclub, W.E.I.R.D.  He's also been a lifelong Zappa and Beefheart fan, but it's clear he's kept his earradar alive and active.  Love to go to this, but just don't see it happening.Cry
