How many of you listen to Prog Rock on streaming Net Radio? I've found several channels that have interesting programing. Radio Free Kansas - http://www.tafcommedia.net/music ProgRock.Com - http://www.progrock.com ProgRADIO - http://www.progradio.net Seismic Radio - http://www.seismicradio.com Be warned that none of the above are particularly dailup friendly. |

Try any of the above, dude. I've been listening to Radio Free Kansas quite a lot lately. Nothing in particular to do with the band, that's just where the station is. RFK claims listeners in Australia, so maybe you can get a good connection. |

I listen to www.deliciousagony.com every day...I bought most of my albums due to this station (but due to this site here, that has changed from time to time they have several Marathons...last week there was a 72 hour (!!!) Genesis Marathon, just Genesis and Solo rojects from the members were played... Edited by diddy |

there is a chance for you to download "musicmatch jukebox", is a very good program, and for free, you can listen a very wide amount of music, this program works typing the name of your favorite artist and the system looks for realated artists, and broadcast random songs of that artist and the related ones, a very primitive yet risky option beacuse the system chose the songs and the artist, but is a nice option for you to know from artists and records, because it features a description of the album and a review from the company

I always thought that program had a registration fee... I don't believe it's worth that much, especially when I have my own collection of prog tunes.

Check out my radio show The Alternative Alternative Show, which has
been broadcasting out of Loughborough Campus radio since 1973 (there
was an 8 year break) during term time. Summer Term (7weeks)
schedule kicks off this coming Thursday at 7pm British Summer Time. We
webcast via
www.LCR1350.co.uk (where advice is given on suitable software to download so to hear the streaming broadcast). You'll also find a few webarchives and our monthly jazz rock/jazz chart which gets published in the UK magazine Jazzwise. Music played includes prog, nu fusion, jazz rock, world and good fusion. Planned for next Thursdays show include tracks by Vinegar (German reissue of 1973 Krautrock band), Ibis, Allan Holdsworth's "Then!" (just issued in the UK), Hiromi's newie (for June release), J.A.M. , and hopefully the outtakes available for the first time on the Lifetime "Believe It" reissue + whatever takes my fancy. We are working on having Carl Palmer guest on a show before the end of 2004 - his daughter is at the university!! |
