Perhaps you could here explain a bit more about who you are and where you are in this thread meanwhile.

Snap! Site is up and running everywhere except Europe (im guessing youre from Europe), we're aiming to have it up in January!

 

So here's a bit about us;

 

www.LOUDTRAX.com is a specialized download site for ROCK, METAL, and PUNK and all their Sub-Genres!

Our genre list eliminates the endless browsing required on other sites, to discover the music you like. Find what you want, Hear what you like, Play it LOUD. We are the first site in the world that specializes specifically in the above mentioned genres and sub-genres.

LOUDTRAX.com has;
-Artist Profiles, and external links (MySpace, facebook, etc...)
-Rock, Metal, and Punk have sub genres, each containing a section for; Featured Releases, New Releases and a Top 10 chart
-Opportunity for music lovers to find new artists, simply by browsing through the genres they already enjoy
-30 second preview of each track listed
-Community Blog

LOUDTRAX.com is an excellent place for Indie Artists & Labels to get exposure and sell their music. The Genre listing helps existing fans of a certain genre come across new flavours of what they already enjoy!

We are very open to (and are currently) working with Artists, Labels and websites, to help get exposure and where possible cross promote.

 

We are based out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

 

 

 

first of all, thanks for taking a look.  As Salty Jon pointed out, it is a download site.  However, we are taking steps on making vinyl available on order, as well as merchandise.  Blowin Free, the search will wield anything that matches the entry.  Having said that, we have over 500,000 songs, but are int he process of uploading a whole bunch more.  As for albums 1 / 2, we post what info the labels give us.  Sometimes, they group a double album into 1 release (i know this is annoying!).  We will address it and try to fix where possible.

We are huge fans of Rock music, and felt there was a need to have a site that did not classify everything from Springsteen to Slayer to King Crimson into "Rock".  Which is why we have 22 genres, and we hope to have more.

We welcome any suggestions, after all, we are fans too and want to make a site that reaches out and supports the rock, metal and punk community.
