   Francis Dunnery will be touring the UK in October 2009 with his New Progressives project.

"I'm incredibly excited about this project" says Dunnery "I have been in discussions with the band for the past few weeks and we are beginning to get on the same page. I have sent them the songs that we will be 'Progressin' and they are busy soaking them up as we speak. I have also recruited some cool guests to contribute their musical talents to the project and I have a pretty good idea of what the overall project will look like when its finished. The live show should be a trip, we are definitely going to be doing some pretty weird sh*t".

The New Progressives project will feature songs from "THE BRAND NEW IT BITES' as well as songs from other artists that Dunnery has an interest in 'Progressin'. Dunnery laughs "I think those old It Bites melodies are just screaming to be glorified in their middle age. I can't wait to get at them, its going to be a lot of fun".

With the album set for release in September, Dunnery will be touring the UK in October with an exciting new band from the USA and a whole new batch of songs. "I don't want to give away which songs we will be performing right now" says Dunnery "I think it will be more in the spirit of the project to leave it until we release the CD"
