A band called Manahil, wich is in fact really progressive in it's roots, but explores in various areas of world music, ambient, electronic and metal music. Even folk and acoustic pop on the latest record.

Manahil is formed by Mathieu Fiset (yep, myself) on keyboards and other music creating devices, and Hind Fazazi on vocals.

I would recommend listening to both sides or our music, the first album "Hadayane" wich is very progressive rock sounding, with oriental ambiences and electronic based drums and percussion. And the last EP "From Roots To Clouds" wich is a minimalist, acoustic record with raw and pure emotional pieces of music.
