This just in from Marillion:

Hi all,

Less is More...more or less?!

Summer is almost here and we are all looking forward to the next Marillion project. The band are to record a new Studio 'Acoustic' album due for release in Autumn 2009. This album will be supported by an Acoustic Tour.
You can check out the Tour dates as they are announced at:
http://www.marillion.com/tour/index.htm

We will be bringing you exclusive updates on the recording process as it unfolds so watch this space, there will be loads of great stuff coming your way.

For those who can't wait that long we have chosen to feature the 1999 Album 'Unplugged At The Walls' on the website. We feel this album really shows the band at their best in acoustic mode. We have added sound clips from this album on the site so you don't have to take our word for it.

I was at this gig - it is my old home town of Oswestry, before I moved to Wales, and it really was tremendous. Well worth purchasing if you are a fan of the band.

Can't wait for the new workClapBig smile

Excellent news. I downloaded the Ostara album from the Marillion site, and was once more blown away by Rothery's guitar playing.
Nothing like stripping down the sound to show what you have isn't just electronic & technological polish.
