Motley Crue-Shout at the devil brings back good memories!
Meatloaf as well, but metal?
Anyway voted Crue

ok... so what's the joke? are you trying to say the only good prog metal is to not listen to prog metal?
(i mean, don't get me wrong, i'm glad to not see DT on a prog metal poll, but prog metal would be nice...)

Yeah, I almost wanted to put Metal Machine Music on here, too. And love beach. And Zappa plays Zappa just to mess with everyone even more.

I voted the cars. Quite possibly the most brutal and blackest prog from the deepest blackest carpathian black forest in the harshest of winters that I've ever heard.

I don't find any progressive metal here in this list . Anyone found???? Still I'm voting with Turbo , brings good memories when hard and heavy was at the top, the '80's.

***** Phil Collins has long been regarded as an underrated prog metal artist. On 'No Jacket Required' he abandons the all-out metal of his previous album ('Full Metal Jacket') and adds progressive polyrhythms to the mix. His demonic growls are thrillingly juxtaposed with more reflective passages. This is no more typefied than on 'Sussudio', an archetypal sludge metal number that gradually morphs into a delicate tracery of harp and mandolin. 'One More Fright' is a multi-part thriller, in which Collins growls and screams his way into apoplexy. Recommended.

^I'm surprised you're not upset that Haddaway didn't make this poll.
Meh, Phil Collins is getting too much love. He's overrated, as everyone surely knows he's not all that great. And sometimes I wonder if he really is metal.

Haddaway isn't metal enough even for this poll. Metal can't be that sexy. :P

Bat Out of Hell for me, i love that album , such a brutal music, more black than Gorgoroth and Darkthrone together .. the very name of black metal was coined after release of this monster, meat loaf shrieks crashes the ground.

These might or might not be some of my favorite prog metal albums of all time but it was really too hard to choose. I decided to vote for CCR's Cosmo's Factory mostly because it was the only album that didn't have any votes.
Otherwise I might have wanted to be a Turbo Lover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
