I just noticed Richard Wahnfried are listed under "W" and not under "R". That's like listing "Pink Floyd" under "F", mistaking "Pink" for a first name (oh, by the way, which one is Pink?" Wink) or Henry Cow under "C". Richard Wahnfried is not a person, it is the name of a band. The band name was made up from the first name of famous composer Richard Wagner and how he had named his home (which was Wahnfried).

Fixed.

Richard Wahnfried is a pseudonym, which technically means "false name". So, despite the early band gathering, I dare say that RW is, at least, the name of a project, if not the name of an artist, i.e. Klaus Schulze under the pseudonym.

Besides this, some albums are named only Wahnfried, not Richard Wahnfried. The cover for Trancellation even states "Wahnfried feat. Klaus Schulze", sic! LOL

I think it is, as Friede already mentioned, a name like Henry Cow, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull or Uriah Heep, all of which could be person's names as well but are actually band names. the Richard Wahnfried albums were a project instigated by Schulze, but I don't think it is a pseudonym for him.
it is true though that the latter albums were published under the name Wahnfried only. but if I were looking for them in the archives, I would go to "R" and not to "W", just as I would under "H" for Henry Cow

"Klaus Schulze (born August 4, 1947) is a German electronic music composer and musician. He also used the alias Richard Wahnfried"

Last.fm entry about Richard Wahfried:
Richard Wahnfried ist eine Sessionband des deutschen Elektronikpioniers Klaus Schulze mit interessanten Besetzungen: Michael Shrieve, ex-Santana, Percussion , Arthur Brown als Sänger, und manchmal Günther Tiepold am Cello und auch anderen.
