I've been listening to Cynic and Gentle Giant recently. "Why?" You ask, "Are you listening to two such different bands recently?"
I just got their stuff new recently. I enjoy both of them.

It's mostly been PFM, Le Orme and The Flower Kings. I almost feel bad for forsaking the classic bands (Yes, KC, VdGG) that first made me love the genre.

A while ago Harmonium, Locanda Delle Fate and John Frusciante spent a lot of time in my player but these past few days it's been all about the Beatles, Opeth and Rush. Today is Rush day.

No doubt the sig will answer most of your question, but in the last three months last.fm says that I've been listening to a lot of The Flower Kings, Echolyn, and Genesis.

A lot of Yes, been diving into Topographic Oceans, this album has really been revealing itself to me.
Ragnarok (New Zealand Prog Rock band from middle 70's) This really brought to life 70's NZ for me, they're not a great band, but very interesting to be reminded that Prog Rock was cool, popular and being made by NZ bands for a couple of Years in the 70's.
Leonard Cohen (Went to his concert in Wellington & he was just fantastic, it was a spiritual experience, those songs are just so powerful and well crafted.
Kaipa, Angling Feelings: great quirky modern Prog Rock this album has really grown on me.
Egg The Civil Surface, saw Prog rock Britannia on YouTube, had never listened to them and was delighted to find I had overlooked a really excellent prog rock band. Quality stuff.
Also a lot of New Zealand songs form Nature's Best compilations 1 & 2. An amazing spiritual journey into the heart of my own country.

I got a bit of new music, and I've been listening to two extremely different bands I've been meaning to get into. Giraffes? Giraffes! and Enslaved.
