Hey Prog Heads:

How would you like to create your own Prog Rock personalized radio station?  Well, here it is - from Slacker.Com.  I am the programmer for the prog station and we're desperately trying to get the right people listening.  Come on over to Slacker.Com and try it out.  We have over 100 different prog bands playing and you can customizxe it however you want.  See below!!!  And Thanks.  Listen and let me know what you think

Slacker.Com is personalized internet radio.  You can skip songs and tell the system to play only the bands you want to hear. 

OVER 110 Prog band are currently programmed.  More added every week!

From classic bands, new releases, and rare obscurities, we have it all on the Prog Rock station from Slacker.Com.  Plus, we add music to the station every week – keeping it fresh and up to date.

Choose EXACTLY what bands you want to hear.  If you only want the station playing the weird stuff, we can do it.  If you only want to hear the classics, that’s cool.  If you love everything except Rush, no problem, just delete Rush from the system and you’ll never hear them again..  You can even skip and ban songs so they never play again, or make certain songs your favorites so they play more often  It’s personalized Prog Rock Radio from Slacker.Com.

Slacker--I'dl ike to delete/ban Trevor Rabin-era Yes, but wish to still be able to hear the rest of the Yes catalogue.  Is this possible?

Yes - that's very possible.  If a song plays from Drama - just ban it and it will never play again.  That's the best way to delete a certain era of a band.  I think we only have 3 Drama songs playing anyway.

Not to worry Genesis fans, no need to ban the crappy era because it doesn't play the Phil stuff to begin with.  We only have the REAL Genesis playing - a few Phil songs from Trick of the Tail and Wind and Wuthering play, but it's almost all Gabriel.

By the way, my example of deleting Rush was just an example.  :)  You can delete any band you want.  Just click on Edit Station and all the bands that are playing show up.  Just click on the ones you want to delete.  It's pretty cool.  Or you can just listen as it plays now - you may not even have to customize it.
