Compositional Rock / Plugged and Unplugged A double bill performance at Le Poisson Rouge – Monday, Nov 10th , 2008 7-10 pm featuring violinist, Monica Germino and the rock quartet, Electric Kompany Hailed by the London Times as a ‘striking presence’ whose ‘virtuosity was exhilarating,’ Monica Germino's (http://www.monicagermino.com) astonishing musicianship explodes conventional limits of the classical violin, showcasing works especially written for her in “Plugged and Unplugged” while Electric Kompany (http://www.electrickompany.com) stretches the boundaries of the “rock band” definition, performing complex compositions by leading composers of today in their program entitled “Compositional Rock”.
