Having recently re-discovered one of my favourite band's (Psychotic Waltz) side project,
I, without any second thought recommend both Darkstar's long lost gems: Marching Into Oblivion http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=19213 and Heart of Darkness http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=19214 both excellent albums for friends of experimental metal, essential for fans of Psychotic Waltz. I reckon Heart of Darkness as a slightly better album, being more mature in composition at several points. Both albums have weaknesses as they are clearly 'experimental', both in terms of production and structure. Enjoy (I hope you can find them, as they are a bit rare...) ![]() |
