(Good) News from Edensong - New line up

The past months have been a really busy time for Edensong, and there are many many more things to report, but for now, I’ll distill this newsletter to the essentials:

I’m thrilled to announce Edensong’s brand new lineup:  Stefan Paolini on keyboards, David Aria on drums, and the return of Mr. Paden on bass!   These guys are superb musicians and the music is sounding better than ever!  I will soon announce the band’s new full-time cellist and flutist once the selection has been made, but I couldn’t help but leak this privileged info a bit early!  We’ve already started composing a little music for the next album and we’re hard at work rehearsing for some shows in ‘09 including the following…

Edensong has been Selected to play at 3RP 2009!!  This is extremely exciting as we’ll be playing alongside Phideaux, Singularity, and a handful of other quality bands as of yet unannounced.  The festival was phenomenal this past year, and is bound to be even better this time around.  The second annual Three Rivers Progressive Rock festival will be held August 8-9 at the Pepsi Road House in Pittsburgh, PA (a great venue with excellent sound). The last item for now…Tom Gagliardi has been featuring Edensong as part of his Gagliarchives radio program in PA.  I was surprised to find out that we’d been climbing his request charts for the past few weeks.  Last week, “The Fruit Fallen” was number 5, but with your help, I hope we can do even better…  The Gagliarchives is an incredible prog radio program, and I highly recommend tuning in:  More info at www.gagliarchives.com .  For those not in the Philadelphia area (the vast majority I you, I assume) you can listen  at www.auralmoon.com Saturday nights from 10pm-2am.  The request lines are always open however, so drop an e-mail to [email protected] or call 609-894-8900 to request some more Edensong.
