Know nothing of him except his position in government and his wife. But I am aware that there has been an uproar about him from the French public. He can't be any worse than the clowns we've had since 2001

Sorry but he can. He's proving it now and he's been doing so for years.Poor people are poorer and rich people richer, many people avoid curing themselves more and more because it's too expensensive.Education standards are going down with teachers being less and less helped. The government does not care about people:they keep their way of life but keep telling us"Make efforts. One has to make sacrifices!".Moreover foreign policies are inspired by George Bush. There are traitors in our government:Fadela Amara and Martin Hirsch for example,so called leftists,it sucks!I hope left wing will gather its strengths for 2012 and win the elections!

You see Russians everywhere (do you live in Yakutsk?)
Sarkozy is a Hungarian name , a noble one at that but his dad was a playboy (typical Hungarian!) and yes its proggier than Dupont or Smith

Even with this pedigree he seems not too happy with the immigration issue (unless they are white Christians coming from Eastern Europe maybe).

Having studied french history (especially the political variety) the french are IMPOSSIBLE TO RULE! De Gaulle once said that political popularity in France is like veryone liking the same wine or cheese (Bonne chance) . BTW, I have never met two frenchmen who agree on Clovis, Charlemagne, Loius XIV, Napoleon, Robespierre, Petain, De Gaulle, Pompidou, Chirac etc... Nicolas has at least balls , which after decades of lackluster power hungry boring fools (including Mitterand) , offers at least some controversy, tres francais , ca, non?
