_popupControl(); You see that popupcontrol thing at the beginning and end of my post, what is it?? and how do I get rid of it?? Its preventing me from writing reviews as well, which is pretty much why I finally registered.  THx for any help. _popupControl();

Anyone else come across this. presumably it related to a programme running on the member's PC.

^ Yes, apparently it's caused by the pop-up blocker feature on a personal firewall (usually "CA Personal Firewall") - just disable the Firewall Popup Window Blocker and you should be able to post normally.

You should need to disable the whole firewall, just the Popup blocker option

Yeah, it's kinda risky taking down your whole firewall.  That leaves you quite exposed to viruses and stuff.

I used to have the same problem with the "popupcontrol". Disabled my popup blocker on CA and everythings fine now.
