what song would you want played at your funeral?
either time by Tom Waits or Glosoli by Sigur Ros. kinda opposites but i think they'd both work.
3rd option. . . anything by cannibal corpse.

I could easily think of 1000 or more songs to be played at my funeral that I would probably be pretty satisfied with. LOL

I guess in the end it would simply have to be a Rush song, despite how many other bands I absolutely love as well. Which Rush song, however... that would be extremely difficult to determine.

I've thought about this a lot...

Then I realised I'd be deceased, so I won't get to hear the tunes I get played and besides, none of my friends would even dare play any of it and knowing my luck, I'd die in a freak accident and so none of my friends would actually know what I wanted play at my funeral anyhow. LOL

But I guess I'd have to pick something really depressing and preferably difficult on the ears.  Something by Merzbow or Shub-Niggurath. Big%20smile  Something either noisey or dark... or both.

Or I could request my favourite song of all time:

Van der Graaf Generator - Man-erg

Absolutego by Boris.
It goes for 65 minutes and 35 seconds and the album itself goes for about 73 minutes, so at least the people that attend my funeral get to sit through just over 90 per cent of the albums length.

One of these, depending on who I invite:

Leonard Cohen - The Guests
Nick Drake - Way to Blue
Talk Talk - Wealth
Merzbow - Sphere Pt. 2
