Anyone heard of this norwegian Jazz/prog band? I find them very soothing and could IMO easily be compared to Samla Mammas Manna. http://www.panzerpappa.com/sounds.htm
Any thoughts? Should they be included?

Anywho Farlig Vandring seems like a very facinating album, I shall look everywhere to get it...

Saw them play in Oslo yesterday in a little place called 'Sound of Mu'.
Fantastic! A mix between already mentioned Samla Mammas Manna and Cantebury, but also
the dark instrumentals of Dün and mid-seventies King Crimson.
While fellow norwegians and retroproggers Wobbler and Magic Pie haven't convinced me yet, the four charming prognerds in Panzerpappa playing their carefully constructed, complex sheet music certainly has. Extranumber was a cover of Happy the Man's 'I Forgot to Push it'. Another highlight was a ca. twenty minute version of 'Hulemysteriet' (The Cave Mystery) played in darkness while wearing head lamps. That made them look quite cool as well. I look forward to their new CD 'Korallrevens Klagesang'. Richard Sinclair (vocals on one track) is one of several guest musicians. The samples from their website is ok, but if all the new stuff they played on the concert is anything to go by, the new album will be in a leage way above their previous outings.
