I propose to add Fathom to the archives. They play celtic prog folk.

I'm just starting to listen to their myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/celticrock It's pretty heavy (metalish). Not suitable for prog folk -- and it has other elements like a new wave? influence at times (reminded me a bit of Talking Heads momentarily). Be interesting to hear what people say. Where would you put this (anyone reading the topic)? Possibly in Xover. Definite hard rock influence. Heavy proggish; not Prog Folk. Hearing a U2 influence. Definitely relates to "popular rock." Been thinking it's rather proggier than PR, but that mainstream influence is strong. Heavy rock with celtic stylings.
Heavy, Xover, PR.... |
