   FestivAlternativo 2008

This is a prog festival whose 2008 will take place, as usual, in tne Mexican city of Querétaro. As usual, it is being organized by Luna Negra Productions. As usual, it will last two days, this year Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of June. 

The lineup is awesome.-

     June 14th
  CHRIS CUTLER & HUGH HOPPER
  BANDA ELÁSTICA
  1870
  SANTOSOTELOS

     June 15th
  AMAROK
  CAST
  SAENA

This is a varied razzia of bands, from the very veteran to the most recent and every age in between. Lots of styles: old-fashioned and renewed symphonic prog, avant-prog, prog-fusion, and even Canterbury-meets-RIo played by two living legends from both genres. 

The gigi is the Centro de Desarrollo Cultural “La Estación” (the former Estación de Ferrocarril) – Héroe de Nacozari, s/n, Col. Centro – Querétaro, QRO.

	Thanks César, earlier this year Samla Mammas Manna were announced to the festival, sadly they cancelled , it would have been awesome. Anyway, i´ll be there, last year Amarok was by far the best performance, i was astonished with their music! I am really looking forward to see Cutler & Hooper!

	Hugh Hopper cancelled, i wanted to see him with Cutler, instead, Cutler played with Banda Elastica and was pretty good, but of course i was not expecting that, :(
