Guys,
Just so much to tell you all about this newsletter.... Firstly thank you and love to everybody who made it to The Peel in Kingston to see the first show in 16 or so months on March 1st. It was great to see the band back on stage and the new song was extremely well received! CREDO DO AMERICA As many of you know by now the band make their first visit to America in May to play at the prestigious RoSFEST in Philedelphia!!! The Not So Secret Warm Up Gig... A date for the diary is Thursday April 10th when the boys will be playing their last warm up show before RoSFEST. Everybody wants to play there, and it is seriously becoming the S.W. number 1 Prog Venue.... CREDO & JO McCAFFERTY RIFFS BAR SWINDON THURSDAY APRIL 10th THE BOYS WILL BE ON AT 9.30 AND WILL PLAY THE ENTIRE rOsfest SET!!!! SO COME ALONG AND HECKLE IN YOUR BEST AMERICAN ACCENT TO GET THE BIG MAN READY FOR THE STATES! Mick Pointer has bitten the bullet and decided to take the whole Script gig out on tour in Europe in April, Nick Barrett will be supplying guitar duties and the rest of the line up is: Brian Cummings-vocals, Ian Salmon- Bass Guitar, Mike Varty- Keyboards, and Mick of course on drums. I saw Credo at the Peel in Kingston SW London the other week it was their first gig since Riffs in Dec 2006. You would never know that they hadn't played live for so long. the crowd really enjoyed the set which also included a new song. Considering all that Mark has gone through with his (well documented) surgery it was great to see him and the rest of the band so obviously enjoying themselves again on a stage. If you haven't got Rhetoric yet...why? I can tell you, the band are cooking at the moment..... Went to the studio with Mark on Sunday, new studio, Mark was late as ever, and asked the guy on the desk "what room are Credo in?", bloke looked blankly back at him, "Tim Birrell's the name it's booked under?" said MC, still no reponse...
"Four old blokes" continued Mark
"Oh" said the guy behind the desk, "why didn't you say that in the first place"
"They are in the room at the end...."

We will be playing RHETORIC in it's entirety, for the final time
 Plus we have a nice new number for you - just the one this time as we feel RHETORIC deserves to be played for you guys in it's entirety.
The album will always be very special to the band given, the well documented, issues we had to overcome to get it out there!

Thank you to everyone on the site that made it to the gig, Jo was wonderful, and we had a great time, lots of people in there for the first time following a lot of local publicity courtesy of the BBC!!!
Was told it was the fullest the venue had been all year  America here we come..... |
