   Today is not only Easter. This year it also happens to coincide with Paranirvana Day. This is when Buddhists commemorate the death of Shakyamuni Buddha. I think there are a couple of other Buddhists here, but this year it bears a wider importance. The tragedy of recent events in Tibet have just been compounded by the Chinese government calling the Dalia Lama a liar, and accusing him of inspiring violence. This is absolutely not true. I can assure you, this is not his way. He is a true follower of the teachings, and today we remember what the Buddha taught. Love, peace, nonviolence, and the oneness of all beings.

	I really hope China comes to their senses some day... I wish people could boycot the olympics this year, I mean, how can you justify visiting huge sports events hosted by a nation that do the things China do in Tibet? anyway, happy paranirvana day, I guess!

	happy paranirvana day, even though I don't really know what it is, for the rest happy easter! Tomorrow's my birthday so...mmm..don't know..
