Wrongo! (about #5 being Rush)
4 has GOT to be the easiest out of them all.
I'll make it even easier.
The Whistler will get it right away.

Well #4 ain't on either of those albums.
And 5 is DEFINATELY not Black Sabbath. Sort of...dark, though...not BLACK dark....maybe....bloodier....hmmm....
too vague?

Well, I dont own a lot of underground classic prog.
If you say that #5 involves a lck of bass pedal, then I will probably go with Tool, considering you listened to some the other day. Maybe.

2 and 4 are the ones that could have used a double bass pedal (5 is good the way it is).
4 is doable without the twin pedals, but 2 sounds a little bit lacking without it.

Clues?
Band of Song #2 is from Canada. # 3 Symphonic Swedish outfit. #4 and #5 are both of the 'classic 7' - both British. The really hard song - #5 - is from a "scaled down" version of the band, in their second era, so to speak.
Combining what I just gave you with some clues earlier on (and one big clue in Peter's similar thread) should tell you what bands did songs #2 and #4 (unless you can't guess them already - which you should be able to). The clu to #3 is a bit of a give-away, anyway.
Anywho, start guessing.
