Yes, maybe I'll try to write something up.
And yes, I agree that TFTO is controversial.
But it cannot be worse than Owner of a Lonely Heart can it?
TFTO can be seen as an extended Close To The Edge.
And it seems CTTE is rather consensually a masterpiece.
Maybe this approach may help find a fair statement on TFTO.

Thank you for the apology, and sorry for being a bit hard on you. I had a look at the bio, and you are indeed right about it. I suppose we'll have lots of volunteers for writing a better one.

I am also a linguist by background, though I am from Italy. There are other Portuguese and Brazilians here, so you'll feel at home. Welcome to PA, and hope you'll stay in spite of this small misunderstanding!Smile

Sorry.
I really did not mean to sound accusatory.
On the contrary.
I realise how hard it must be to write a biography.
The current one may be better than none.
But it is quite misleading for a reader that does not know Yes.
As for presenting myself, I did not find it necessary or relevant.
But here it goes.
I am a computer scientist, engineer, linguist, musician from Portugal.
My name is Marius Amado-Alves.
Google will tell you a bit more.
Am I forgiven?

If you think its so bad you should write a new one and submit it to the...hmmm, not sure who exactly to send it to, but there are plenty of resources to find out.

Yeah, it is probably a little shorter than Yes deserves, but you will find very few who will argue that "Tales" is not controversial. For instance, I don't like it, its long-winded and flounders. You like it because (insert our reason here). There...instant controversy.

Thank you for the suggestion. However, since this is your first post, I have to tell you that this is not the right way to introduce yourself on a public forum. Criticism can be offered without having to resort to an accusatory tone and the use of strong words like 'terrible'.

Yes' biography on Prog Archives must be revised. It completely misses the point of Yes music. The worse works are highlighted (Owner of a Lonely Heart) and the best is downplayed as "controversial" (Tales From Topographic Oceans).
