I'm glad to say that after a year of throwing around a couple of musical ideas, I've put together a song I'm very proud of. It's my attempt at composing music on the same level and basis as some of the 70's prog superheads. I created a SoundClick account and posted my 8:15 epic "Active Ingredient" here: http://www.soundclick.com/davidclair

Hopefully I did a good job of sounding like an individual, not so much some of the other prog bands (ELP and GG come to mind here). I'm showing this to my friends too, but unfortunately none of them have this kind of taste in music. I know you guys will appreciate it. Please tell me what you think.Embarrassed
All the old familiar choruses come crowding in a different key: Melodies decaying in sweet dissonance.

I also added a 45-second preview of a second song I want to make. Again, any comments would be greatly appreciated.
