Topic: PT Elimination Tourney Finals !!! Posted: July 11 2007 at 12:18 |
Round 1 : On the Sunday of Life AND Metanoia (eliminated)
Round 2 : Voyage 34 (eliminated)
Round 3 : Up the Downstair (eliminated)
Round 4 : Recordings (eliminated)
Round 5 : Signify (eliminated )
Round 6 : Fear of a Blank Planet (eliminated )
Round 7 : The SKy Moves Sideways AND Deadwing (eliminated)
Round 8 : Lightbulb Sun (eliminated)
Here we are, with SD and IA as finalists. Two of my favorites from PT (FoaBP was eliminated, and it is probably my favorite).
Hard choice really, they are both excellent albums...
But if one has to go, let it be Stupid Dream. I prefer In Absentia. The first album with PT's more metal approach, containing amazing songs (Blackest Eyes, Gravity Eyelids, Wedding Nails, Lips of Ashes, Heart Attack in a Lay By, etc...)
Speak your mind !

Let's finally put "Stupid Dream" to sleep.

I never expected those 2 albums to remain, I love them both however, choosing is almost too difficult. I'll regret this later on, but 'Stupid Dream' it will be...

That was stupid
Yes it was an easy target for a bad pun, but God forgive me I do love puns.

I can't believe FoaBP is out. Their best lyrically and their second best (to In Absentia) musically.

Unless Strip the Soul, my favorite album would be easy In Absentia, but I don't know.
I have to think.

If in absentia is your favorite Rich, why did you vote for it, the question of this poll being which is your LEAST favorite album?
