Topic: Jethro Tull, Pordenone, Italy, June 29th Posted: June 30 2007 at 09:38 |
Azzano Decimo, Pordenone, Italy, Festa Della Musica 2007 June 29th
Worst of so could not go!!! In fact the evening was begun with an incredible line to the McDonald!!! Continued with an arrival in concert zone (Azzano Decimo, Pordenone) to concert already begun (first 2 songs heard from distant) and naturally little visual towards the platform. Hoping it didn't rain, since to the open space. Well... Being we in the rainiest place of the Friulian plain (where, between the other, exceptional thunderstorms for the zone are born! !!)... Rain was!!!
To put right us under the awning where it would have played Sergio Caputo... It isn't served because it not nothing heard itself!!! In the half of "Budapest"... Black Out!!!
Concert ended!!!
But Sergio Caputo at least it was able to play because its concert, that it was free and it recalled except for people, it was at the covered one. At any rate it was much gotten angry because it didn't be able to listen to the Jethro Tull (declared to be large fan of the Tull!!!). Having Sergio Caputo (honest Italian song songwriter) fear for a general black out began the concert with its pieces more requests (and the first was a good Jazz!!!).
In a like evening... It does it is able to be us of positive? Well... To have acquaintance the girlfriend of Andrea Cortese, the beautiful Barbara... And an alchoolic trip (with beer) to Pabi Pub... Speaking of Heavy Metal... Progressive (wanting to promote PA)... Women...
And a large regret for what was able to be and didn't be.
P.s.: Record pack to the Kiosksof the "Fiera Della Musica". Nevertheless, sources of a friend that is in the staff of the show, this didn't be that a thin consolation. Even if beer to hectoliters!!!

I feel sorry for you Two Andrea's, rain and tears ... but in the end a good beer and a good talk and a few things more compensated a lot I presume !
By the way, why don't you come to Holland on September 15th during the Symfoforce Festival in Tilburg? Great line-up, see for details the symphonic prog thread a few pages back.

At Pabi Pub the O.S.T. of the evening was: Blues CD (not to ask me who it was the author) Guns'n'Roses (bad album, this CD) Motorhead (CD-R with old evergreen) Led Zeppelin (CD-R with various evergreen) ...And others that my alchoolic state doesn't allow to remember me!!! But sure... Without girl (very girl, like Andrea Cortese's girlfriend) the beer is the unique solution for an evening like this!!!

hahhahaha... I think I've been a bad influence on you Mandy. You never used to swear until this foul mouthed Yankee started corrupting you. Drinking beer and chasing women...what's next.... smoking and crashing cars

Well, micky... This is my very natures... I am a man that when should amuse becomes a true Boogie man... But that it does it understand to be extremely serious... Certainty, when it O.S.T. of the evening is Jethro Tull, Zeppelin, Motorhead... The beer and the women are the just ingredient. Also because the evening it had not gone well... However cabbage the girlfriend of Andrea Cortese... Compliments also from my friends!!!
