Tool for me,naturally.

I bought the Night on Brocken ALBUM in 1984 when I was 18 years old,so I am pretty familiar with them.I hated them at first,I thought they were Iron Maiden rip-offs.

They were Iron Maiden rip-offs indeed. Tongue Today I find it hard to even listen to those first albums, although after Night on Brocken they started progressing considerably and diversified their sound up to the point where they began influencing other bands themselves. They've come a very long way.

FATES WARNING for me, too. I'm in a minority, but IMHO, they surpass the other two (especially the overrated Tool) regarding versatility, interacting performances, evolving use of riffing, and compositional creativity.

   Kind regards.

I prefer without doubt Zero Hour and their fabulous and awesome Towers of Avarice from 2001. Just super and Erik Rosvold the vocal is one of the best i ever heared from prog metal, no to forget the 2 brothers who di on every ZH album a great job. I also enjoy very much Fates Warning from the old prog metal scene, but i prefer ZH. Tool i can't stand, i can't listen not even 5 minutes of their music.
