ELP is my second favourite band however they should have stopped before Love Beach...and they did it again with "In the Hot Seat." Fulfillment of contract obligations I guess. Ughhh.

Not necessarily true. You have to admit the Emerson Lake and Powell album was very good--another one might have been another case of "forget that last album..." sort of like that stinker "3 to the power of 3."

I enjoy Black Moon too, despite Lake's voice is not at his best.

In fact, I don't understand all that hate for "Love beach". It was clear, from the cover on, that it was not meant to be a second "Trilogy"...But don't forget when it came out!!! What was the alternative back in 1978 for a proghead??? You tell me! I really, really loved "Love beach" back then, that's maybe the reason why I love it today. It still has a suite in it, with one of the best piano part ever (Gentlemen). Of course, younger proggies discovering ELP today could not understand that.
